SAN DIEGO–Crime Stoppers and the San Diego Police Department Cold Case homicide team continue to look for leads on the 22nd anniversary of the unsolved murder of Angela Kleinsorge.

Detectives said Kleinsorge was an 84-year-old woman who lived alone in a detached, single-family residence on 5600 Gaines Street in the Mission Valley West/Morena area. She was last known to be alive on February 28, 1992, when she spoke to her daughter on the phone. The following morning, the daughter went to visit her mom’s home to check on her, and discovered her dead. Kleinsorge had been sexually assaulted and stabbed to death. The evidence indicated that the unknown suspect entered Kleinsorge’s home through a window and attacked her.
