Pedestrian struck by hit-and-run vehicle at Costco parking lot

San Diego, CA–A 63-year-old pedestrian suffered serious injuries after she was struck by a vehicle at the Bay Ho Costco store parking lot Friday morning in San Diego, authorities said.

The woman was walking in the parking lot at around 10:34 a.m. when an unidentified car struck her. The driver then drove away, the San Diego Police Department said.

According to investigators, the woman suffered severe bone fractures and internal injuries. 

At this stage of the investigation, neither the car nor the driver have been described.

San Diego police say they are seeking information on the identity of the driver or vehicle in connection with the incident.
