ENCINITAS–Motorists are advised that Manchester Avenue will be closed at Interstate 5 (I-5) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday, July 12.
The closures are necessary for crews to install falsework, or temporary wood support structures used to aid the construction of the new highway bridge over Manchester Avenue.
All on-and off-ramps will remain open during the closures. Advance notification and detour signs will be posted on Manchester Avenue and I-5.
