OCEANSIDE–Two people, believed to be in their late 40’s or early 50’s, were found dead in their Oceanside home, Oceanside police said
Oceanside police discovered the bodies on February 6 after responding to a request to check the welfare of a person living in the complex at 432 Edgehill Lane in Oceanside.
Officers arrived and found the condo locked and secured. One of the officers looked through a bedroom window and believed he saw a person on the floor who was unresponsive to his requests. Believing an emergency situation existed, he and his partner forced entry into the residence. Officers found two people who are likely the residents deceased inside the residence.
Identities of the two victims have not yet been confirmed. The victims were identified as a black female and a white male. At this time it appears to be a murder-suicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
