San Marcos, CA–TERI Campus of Life will host its inaugural TERI Fest on September 26, inviting the public to enjoy a free afternoon of live music, delicious food, interactive art, family activities and meaningful community connection.
Held on TERI’s 20-acre Campus of Life in celebration of their 46th anniversary, the festival offers guests the opportunity to explore a one-of-a-kind place for all ages and abilities while bringing together neighbors, families, supporters, and first-time visitors.
Live entertainment throughout the half-day event includes: Paradise Live, performing rock and dance hits spanning the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s, Music by Eras: Endless Summer, playing retro beach-fun music, TERI Band, an ensemble of TERI participants grooving to an upbeat mix of classic pop tunes, Back Pocket Whiskey Fellas, bringing a foot-stomping good time with their pub-dance-rock music.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from TERI Common Grounds Café, The menu will include their Smoked Out BBQ and Taqueria, along with kid-friendly, vegetarian and gluten-free options. The café’s specialties will include TERI’s Sweet Potato Bowl and Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie.
Additionally, live culinary demonstrations by chefs and interns in TERI’s vocational program will include tastings throughout the afternoon.
Guests can participate in a hands-on art activity led by TERI art professionals and browse artwork created by the campus artists, with select pieces available for purchase.
Central Park will feature family activities, community resource booths and a mini horse experience.
In keeping with TERI’s commitment to inclusion, sensory rooms and quiet spaces will be available throughout the festival for guests who may need a break from the activity.
The festival takes place from 2 to 6 p.m. at the TERI Campus of Life, 555 Deer Springs Road in San Marcos.
