Oceanside, CA–A suspect has been arrested Thursday in connection with a homicide that occurred in Oceanside earlier this year, authorities said.

The suspect, Jordan Taylor Eustaquio, 34, of Oceanside, was taken into custody on suspicion of murder and booked by the Oceanside Police Department.

The arrest is linked to the February 11 homicide of 48-year-old Felipe Martinez, also of Oceanside.

Officers responded to a report of an individual with traumatic injuries at approximately 12:28 p.m. in the 400 block of Foussat Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased adult male in a dirt lot, suffering from visible trauma.

The investigation remains ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information about the case to come forward. They can contact Detective Mark Theriot at (760) 435-4378 or email MTheriot@oceansideca.org.
