San Marcos, CA–Authorities confirmed that an individual was found deceased inside an apartment in San Marcos on Saturday.
The Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. in an apartment unit in the 1000 block of Armorlite.
When deputies arrived at the scene they found the deceased person with no apparent signs of trauma.
Due to the suspicious nature of the incident, the Sheriff’s Homicide Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Examiner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
