Oceanside, CA–Paying for public parking for residents and visitors in Oceanside is getting easier thanks to the introduction of the option for mobile parking payments.
The City of Oceanside has partnered with PayByPhone to roll-out its easy-to-use services first in two public lots with plans to expand to more areas in the future.
Those parking in the SALT building public parking lot at 371 North Cleveland Street near Civic Center Drive, also known as PS23, and Lot 30 on The Strand (commonly known as Betty’s Lot) have another option to pay using the PayByPhone mobile app. The lots will continue to accept cash and credit cards, as well.
Customers can download the PayByPhone mobile app, connect a payment card securely to the app, and pay easily in seconds. If time needs to be extended in the lot, simply increase parking sessions through the app instead of running back to “feed the meter” in pay lots. The app will send an alert if the parking session is due to expire, so drivers don’t risk a ticket. The PayByPhone app is available in 13 languages.
Download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store or visit the PayByPhone website for more information at https://www.paybyphone.com.
