Oceanside, CA–Firefighters quickly contained a fire that broke out Saturday morning in the electrical control room of a strip mall in Oceanside, according to fire officials.
Fire crews from the Oceanside Fire Department, Carlsbad Fire Department, and Vista Fire Department responded to reports of the blaze at 6:52 a.m. at a commercial center located at 3460 Marron Road near College Boulevard.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke and water flowing from the building’s fire sprinkler system in the electrical control room. Crews quickly located the source of the fire and suppressed the flames, successfully containing the blaze to the room where it originated.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Oceanside Fire Department in coordination with partner agencies.
