NORTH COUNTY–Local authorities arrested multiple people during an early morning warrant sweep in the North County.
On Saturday, at about 6 a.m., units with the San Diego Court Services Bureau, Vista Field Office, Rail Enforcement Team, San Marcos, Fallbrook and Vista Commands, conducted a warrant sweep in the north county area.
The operation consisted of several teams with their primary mission to focus on unserved, outstanding misdemeanor and felony warrants. The operation covered the cities of Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Carlsbad, Fallbrook and Escondido. There were also units in the unincorporated areas of North County.
The warrant sweep concluded at about 3 p.m.
The result of the operation resulted in 28 misdemeanor arrests, 8 felony arrests and 1 juvenile arrest with 50 warrants being cleared.
The operation was funded in part by the Sheriff’s Warrant System Automation Trust Fund.
