Multiple Gunshots Fired At Vista Apartment

VISTA–Multiple gunshots were fired at an upstairs apartment complex in Vista early Tuesday morning, Sheriff’s Department reports.

Vista deputies, just before 2 a.m. responded to reports of shots fired at the Pepperwood apartment complex located in the 2100 block of University Drive.

Several vehicles in the parking lot were also hit. An apparent altercation occurred between the residents of the apartment unit and at least one other person, according to authorities.

All parties fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival.  There were no known injuries.

The shootings are under investigation.
