OCEANSIDE–A hit and run accident left a 37 year-old man with serious head injuries, Oceanside police department said Friday.
Traffic investigators say the 3:40 a.m. accident occurred in the 500 block of Sunset Drive in Oceanside. A witness discovered the victim lying in the roadway. He was conscious but had sustained a significant head injury. The victim was unable to provide police officers any suspect information. The victim was treated on scene by paramedics and flown to Scripps La Jolla.
Investigators located debris from the suspect vehicle. Based on the debris, investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a black Audi A4 (year 2008-2015) with damage to the front and driver’s side.
