Man found fatally shot in front of his Fallbrook home

FALLBROOK–A man was found fatally shot in front of his home in Fallbrook on Saturday, according to the San Diego Sheriff’s Department.

Shortly after 12 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies responded to calls of gunshots in the 700 block of Convertible Lane in Fallbrook. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male who had been shot and was laying in front of a home. 

North County Fire Department responded to the scene and attempted live saving efforts on the victim. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Sheriff’s Homicide Unit is investigating the case.
