Oceanside, CA–Oceanside police are investigating a body found in the water in the area of Guajome Lake Wednesday morning in Oceanside.
Officers received a call at 11:30 a.m. of a foul odor in the area of the lake. When officers arrived at the lake they located the body. Detectives and the Medical Examiner were called to conduct an investigation, the Oceanside Police Department posted on Twitter.
Investigators believed it to be an isolated incident.
An investigation and autopsy will be completed by the coroner’s office.
