SAN DIEGO–The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office released the identity of a man found dead near a trail in Campo on Wednesday.
The victim was 32-year-old Paul Anthony Castello, of Campo. The preliminary cause of death is being withheld for investigative reasons, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Just after 8 a.m., United States Border Patrol agents found the body of an adult male near Shockey Truck Trail and State Route 94 in Campo. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by fire personnel.
