EL CAJON–Authorities arrested a man in connection with a fatal stabbing incident at a residence in El Cajon.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested 26-year-old Dylan Poston, of San Diego, and booked him into the San Diego Central Jail, where he is currently being held without bail for one count of murder.
Just after 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Lakeside Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 9-1-1 call from a woman who said her husband was injured and not breathing after being assaulted inside their condominium. The male victim was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital by Lakeside Fire personnel, but later died of his injuries.
The victim and his wife had both apparently been stabbed, according to Sheriff’s deputies.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives continue to investigate the case.
