Lemon Grove, CA–Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man on suspicion of stabbing two people at trolley stations in Lemon Grove Friday, authorities said.

Deputies received a report at around 10:56 a.m. of an individual who had been stabbed at the Massachusetts Avenue MTS Trolley Station. While deputies were with the victim, another stabbing victim was being attended to at the 62nd Street MTS Trolley Station by San Diego police.  

Deputies learned the individual at the Massachusetts Avenue station, identified as 26-year-old Terry McClure, was the suspect who stabbed the victim at the 62nd Street location. Both McClure and the victim were transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital for evaluation and treatment of their injuries. McClure sustained minor cuts to his hands and arm. The victim sustained a stab wound to his upper body. The victim underwent emergency surgery and is expected to survive.

After McClure was treated, he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the San Diego Central Jail.
