San Diego, CA–The San Diego Superior Court Thursday has ordered the conditional release of sexually violent predator David Munoz to Jacumba Hot Springs, CA.
The California Department of State Hospitals has recommended the placement of Munoz at 45612 Old Hwy 80 in Jacumba Hot Springs, CA. Munoz was convicted of lewd and lascivious acts with a child dating back to 1988 and 1992.

With the hearing scheduled for May 3, the SAFE Task Force will accept public comments about the proposed placement to be included in the formal response to the court and the Department of State Hospitals.
The public can support or object to the proposed placement before it is finalized. The District Attorney’s Office and the SAFE Task Force will submit the comments to the court for consideration. Comments will be accepted through April 18.
