CARLSBAD–Carlsbad police arrested a man and a woman in connection with a February 20 stabbing death in Los Angeles, a Carlsbad police spokesman said Friday.
Police officers received a tip Friday from the Los Angeles Police Department that the suspects, 22 year-old Michael Lee Stotler and 22 year-old Maya Sharene Mcinnis, lived in Carlsbad.
Later that evening, officers and detectives located and stopped a vehicle being driven by Stotler in the 4600 block of Carlsbad Boulevard. The passenger in the vehicle was Mcinnis. Both suspects were arrested without incident and released to the custody of LAPD homicide detectives.
