SAN DIEGO–The Federal Bureau of Investigation San Diego Violent Crimes Task Force and the San Diego Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an individual believed to be responsible for a bank robbery in San Marcos.

On December 17, at approximately 11:45 a.m., a white male entered the Chase Bank located at 348 South Twin Oaks Valley Road. The robber waited in line for the bank teller to call him to the counter and produced a handwritten note that said, “Give me all your 50’s and 100’s and give me the note back.” The teller gave the robber a sum of money and the robber fled the bank on foot.

The robber is described as 25 to 30-years-old, 5 feet, 11 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, black pants, black plastic sunglasses, and a colorful tube-style mask pulled up over his face.
