SAN DIEGO–A 21-year-old driver suffered fatal injuries in a vehicle collision near Interstate 5 in San Diego on Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP dispatch received a call at 6:46 a.m. of a blue Nissan 350z coupe along the fence line of Interstate 5 northbound to State Route 54 eastbound.
CHP located the vehicle with a 21-year-old male seated in the driver seat. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The date and time of the collision is currently under investigation. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor.
