Oceanside, CA–Oceanside and Carlsbad Fire Department firefighters were at the scene of a two-vehicle collision Friday night in Oceanside.
The incident occurred approximately at 11:12 p.m. across from Dignity Memorial on El Camino Real and Fire Mountain Drive.
Oceanside police closed southbound and northbound lanes on El Camino Real while first responders used the jaws of life to pull a driver and passenger out of a white truck. The status of the driver in a black vehicle is unknown at this time.
One victim was taken to a local area hospital. No word on the status of the other victim.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
