SAN DIEGO–The San Diego County District Attorney’s Office  is asking for the public’s help in reuniting possibly stolen property with its rightful owners and identifying additional victims in connection with a residential burglary series.

Cesar Murillo, 48, was arrested and charged in connection with a total of 27 burglaries that occurred throughout San Diego County between August 2015 and August 2016.

“During the course of the search of his vehicle they found information that led them to the storage facility where numerous items of stolen property was identified and is currently part of the charges against this suspect,” said Deputy District Attorney James Koerber, who is prosecuting the case. “A lot of the other property we believe is recognizable but has not been identified by a victim to date.”

The property includes unique items like artwork, a grandfather clock, baseball card collections and jewelry. The DA’s Office is trying to reunite the true owners of this property and identify other burglary victims so the defendant can be held accountable.

If you recognize any of these items as property belonging to you, contact the DA’s Office at (619) 531-4372.  Photos of these and other items can be found on the DA’s Facebook page.
