San Diego, CA–The San Diego County Assessor -Recorder- County Clerk has expanded office hours to offer a new “Love After Hours Evening Wedding Services” program.
Couples may book an appointment for an evening wedding on September 14 between the hours of 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Customers can also walk without an appointment to purchase birth, death, and marriage certificates or file Fictitious Business Names. Many students need their birth certificates for school and university enrollment.
“Our team has taken another step to make sure that your wedding day is perfect with our new ‘love after hours evening wedding’ appointment offerings to make it easier for you, your family, and loved ones to celebrate your love,” Chief Deputy Assessor- Taxpayer Advocate Jordan Marks said. “Your Assessor-Recorder- County Clerk’s office puts customers first, especially when making sure that happiness begins here with a memorable marriage ceremony.”
Couples may schedule appointments for a Marriage License and-or Civil Ceremony between 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the following four office locations – County Administration Center in Downtown San Diego on the waterfront, Chula Vista, San Marcos, and Santee.
The office will also serve walk-in customers who would like to purchase birth, death, and marriage certificates or file Fictitious Business Name statements during these extended hours. No appointments are necessary when requesting vital records or filing a business name.
Couples can book their appointment for love using the 24/7 online appointment system at www.SDARCC.com or by calling (619) 237-0502. Couples are encouraged to complete their Marriage License application online ahead of the appointment time at www.SDARCC.com for faster service. Guests are welcome and can enjoy the new downtown and Santee guest lounges.
The cost of a non-confidential marriage license is $70.00. The ceremony will be performed by a County staff, in English or Spanish for an additional cost of $88.00.
