San Diego, CA–San Diego police arrested a man suspected of starting a wildfire Sunday in the Sorrento Valley area.
Brandon Glasgo, 30, was booked into San Diego County Central Jail on suspicion of arson, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Police said witnesses reported seeing Glasgo walking out of a canyon at about 1:30 p.m., around the time the fire began in the Penasquitos Creek area near Sorrento Valley Boulevard and Vista Sorrento Parkway.
The fire has burned about 131 acres and was 25 percent contained, according to San Diego Fire-Rescue.
The investigation remains ongoing.
