The list reflects both enduring favorites and the county’s rich cultural diversity, highlighting the names parents most often chose for their newborns last year.

Top 10 baby girl names: Emma, Sophia, Mia, Olivia, Isabella, Camila, Charlotte, Amelia, Sofia, and Valentina.
Top 10 baby boy names: Noah, Santiago, Liam, Mateo, Sebastian, Luca, Julian, Oliver, Theodore, and Elias.
The popularity of names such as Santiago, Mateo, Camila, and Sofia reflects San Diego County’s strong multicultural and Latino roots, while names like Emma, Noah, Olivia, and Liam continue to stand the test of time. Elias, Isabella, Sebastian, and Noah reflect popular biblical and Disney inspired names.
