SANTEE–Authorities responding to a structure fire Saturday in Santee discovered a body inside the building, the Sheriff’s Department said.
Deputies responded to assist Santee Fire Department with a structural fire, located at 8300 block of Mission Gorge Road in Santee.
Upon arrival, Santee firefighters discovered a deceased individual inside the location.
Sheriff’s Bomb and Arson detectives will determine the origin and cause of the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
