ENCINITAS–Authorities want to identify and locate a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Encinitas.
The robbery occurred Friday about 11 a.m. in the 1300 block of Encinitas Boulevard. The robber walked into a Bank of America and gave the teller a demand note. He left without getting any money. No one was hurt.
He was last seen leaving the area in a black Ford Escape SUV with no front license plate.
The public is urged to call Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
