SAN DIEGO–Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego police department are asking public assistance to help identify and locate the suspects wanted for an attempted robbery at a Burger King in the Barrio Logan area.

On November 14, at approximately 9:45 p.m., two unknown males walked into the Burger King located 1220 S. 28th Street, in San Diego and approached the counter. The first male told the employee to give him the money. The employee could not understand the man because he was whispering. The employee asked the man to repeat what he had said. He told the employee to open the register and give him the money. The employee told him that she did not have the register key and would need to get it from the manager. The man pulled up his shirt and showed the employee a handgun in his waistband. The employee retreated to the back of the kitchen area. Both men walked out of the restaurant without any money.

The first man is described as white, early to mid 20’s, five feet, six inches tall, asigh 10 to 160 pounds, medium build, reddish-blond hair, closely trimmed beard, wearing a red and white long sleeve plaid shirt, dark pants, tan work boots, and was in possession of a black semi-automatic handgun.

The second man is described as white, early to mid 20’s five feet, eight inches tall, weighing 170 to 180 pounds, medium build, brown hair, mustache, unshaven, black framed prescription glasses, grey short sleeve t-shirt, dark pants, and tan work boots.
