Vista, CA–The Woman’s Club of Vista GFWC celebrated its Donation Day and Scholarships Reception at the scenic Alta Vista Botanical Gardens.
The club awarded $11,000 in scholarships to ten deserving high school seniors from six different schools, aiding them in their higher education. Additionally, the club generously donated $13,000 to eleven local non-profit organizations that support children, the homeless, the vision-impaired, the arts, and the gardens.

Attendees were treated to a bilingual musical performance by LuMaya Jaimes of Tierra Caliente Academy of Arts, who sang in both Spanish and English.
The scholarship recipients are Guajome Park Academy (Valeria Perez Martin and Emelin Sanchez), Mission Vista High School (Kayleen Speller and Briseida Lobato), Rancho Buena Vista High School (Daniela Malfavon and Savanna Navadel), Vista High School (Brenda Sophia Jaimes and Emily Alaniz), Major General Raymond Murray High School (Anthony Hernandez), North County Trade Tech High School (Rebekah Brisby).
