ALPINE–The Alpine Fire Protection District will be participating in the 3rd annual County of San Diego “Love Your Heart” Day.
Love Your Heart Day is a one day event during which the Alpine Fire Protection District will partner with the County of San Diego and others throughout the County to provide free blood pressure screenings to the public.
This year’s event will take place on February 14 on Valentine’s Day. The public can receive free blood pressure checks at the Alpine Fire station at 1364 Tavern Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Last year over 2,000 San Diegans had their blood pressure checked, the goal this year is 20,000 checks.
