Los Angeles, CA–The excitement is building for the 96th Oscars, set to take place on Sunday, and movie fans are eagerly anticipating the star-studded red carpet arrivals.
Adding to the glamor of the event, actor and entrepreneur Vanessa Hudgens, along with multi-talented Julianne Hough, will host “The https://www.instagram.com/p/C4MGewirMfA/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==Oscars Red Carpet Show,” the official lead-in to the awards ceremony.
Scheduled to air at 6:30 p.m. on ABC, the 30-minute special will provide viewers with a comprehensive look at Oscar nominees, performers, and presenters as they make their way into the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. This marks Julianne Hough’s first year hosting the official pre-show, while Vanessa Hudgens returns for her third consecutive year.
Executive produced by David Chamberlin, “The Oscars Red Carpet Show” promises to offer a multi-view experience of the red carpet arrivals, ensuring that audiences don’t miss a single moment from Hollywood’s biggest celebration.
Leading up to the official pre-show, ABC News will provide special coverage of the event with “Countdown to Oscars: On the Red Carpet Live!” airing from 1 to 4 p.m. Hosted by Linsey Davis and Whit Johnson, the pre-show will feature live interviews with nominees and presenters, previews of the awards show, and an exclusive look at the Governors Ball after-party.
Joining Davis and Johnson will be Eva Pilgrim, DeMarco Morgan, Chris Connelly, Kelley Carter, Mike Muse, Clayton Davis, and Joe Zee, all offering their insights and expertise to make this year’s Oscars pre-show coverage truly memorable.
Following the awards ceremony, fans can look forward to the fan-favorite special “After the Oscars,” airing live from the Dolby Theatre at 6 a.m. on Monday on “Live” with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. The special will feature unforgettable moments with the night’s biggest winners captured just hours after they walked offstage.
The 96th Oscars will be televised live on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide, starting at 4 p.m.
