Rosalind Jarrett Sepulveda

LOS ANGELES–Rosalind Jarrett Sepulveda, the Executive in Charge of Publicity for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, received the Les Mason Award, the highest honor the publicists can bestow on one of its own members, at the 54th annual ICG Publicists Awards.

This peer award recognizes outstanding achievements and work that reflects the highest professional ideals.

Kathy Connell, Executive Producer of the Screen Actors Guild, was delighted to congratulate Jarrett Sepulveda. “Rosalind is an essential factor in the success of the SAG Awards and is wholly deserving of this accolade,” Connell said. “I couldn’t be more proud of her, and I’m very lucky to have her on our team.”

SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris presented the award to Jarrett Sepulveda at the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists’ 54th annual ICG Publicists Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The awards, chaired by Henri Bollinger and co-chaired by Tim Menke, took place before an audience of more than 900, including guild members, Hollywood public relations and marketing executives, producers, studio and network executives, celebrities and press.

Jarrett Sepulveda has held her current position for 17 years, during which time she also has been a mentor for young women in the industry, an advocate for more diversity in television and film, and a Women’s Image Network (WIN) Special Achievement award honoree in 2013. She concurrently is an avid participant in the “Pay It Forward” Challenge and other initiatives that use endurance sports to inspire others and to support the non-profit Challenged Athletes Foundation.

Also today, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Founder of DreamWorks Animation and WndrCo, received a Lifetime Achievement Award from actress Kate Hudson (Deepwater Horizon) and PMK-BNC Vice Chairman Brad Cafarelli. Denzel Washington was presented the Motion Picture Showman of the Year Award by producer Jerry Bruckheimer (the CSI series, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies). Writer/director/producer Ryan Murphy received the Television Showman of the Year Award from Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story). In an emotional presentation, Renée Zellweger (Bridget Jones’s Baby) presented longtime publicist and B|W|R Public Relations co-founder Nanci Ryder with the President’s Award.
