San Diego, CA–Ringo Starr will bring his All Starr Band tour to San Diego next spring with a stop at Humphrey’s Concerts by the Bay on May 29, tour officials announced.
The performance is part of a newly announced slate of 12 tour dates featuring Starr’s current All Starr Band. The former Beatles drummer said he is looking forward to returning to the road.
“I am happy to be touring again in the spring,” Starr said in a statement. “See you all in June. Peace and love.”
The San Diego show follows a busy year for the 85-year-old musician. In January, Starr released “Look Up,” a country album produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett. The release marked Starr’s first country album in more than 50 years and delivered several career milestones, including his first top 10 placement on Billboard’s all-genre Top Album Sales chart. The album also appeared on multiple Billboard charts and reached No. 1 on the U.K.’s Official Country Chart, marking Starr’s first solo chart-topper in that category.
Earlier this year, Starr made his Grand Ole Opry debut on Feb. 21, following an invitation extended after the album’s release. He is expected to return to the studio with Burnett and plans to release another album in 2026.
Over a career spanning more than six decades, Starr has received nine Grammy Awards and has been inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-as a member of The Beatles and later as a solo artist. Between 1970 and 2025, he released 21 solo studio albums and five consecutive EPs from 2020 to 2024.
Starr’s career also includes acting roles in more than 15 films, an Academy Award, and an Emmy nomination. He has published nine books, including “Beats & Threads,” and is an accomplished visual artist, with works exhibited internationally and his “Peace Sculpture” permanently installed in Beverly Hills Park.
In 2008, Starr began dedicating his July 7 birthday to promoting peace and love, a campaign that has since expanded globally with support from organizations including NASA. He was knighted in 2018 and, as of 2025, has logged 36 years touring with various All Starr Band lineups. In 2022, Starr received an honorary Doctor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music and was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame with the Joe Chambers Musicians Legacy Award.
