Del Mar, CA–Three new shows have been added to the San Diego County Fair, officially completing this year’s Grandstand lineup.
Tickets for Zedd, Chelsea Cutler with Quinn XCII, and Jessie Murph will go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 25. They join a 20-night entertainment lineup that includes country, hip-hop, R&B, reggae, EDM, rock, pop, Mexican regional music, and comedy.
During the Fair’s first week, Zedd, a multi-nominee and winner of coveted awards — including the Billboard Music Awards, Grammy, iHeartRadio Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Teen Choice Awards and an iHeartRadio Titanium Award — will perform on June 14. Zedd’s music is a cornucopia of sounds, blending electronic dance music, house and dance-pop, as well as pop, rock, and classical music. Masterfully mixed and produced in his signature sound, Zedd’s unique body of work has helped break down barriers between EDM and mainstream pop.
Next up, performing in the third week of the Fair, on Wednesday, June 25, are Chelsea Cutler with Quinn XCII. Cutler is a singer, songwriter and producer from New England who cut her teeth in the music industry first by posting covers and original songs on her own SoundCloud page while she attended Amherst College. A few years later, after her rapid streaming success, she signed a recording contract and launched her first EP in 2017. Touring consistently since 2018, Cutler has amassed a significant following with her lengthy list of singles, collaborations and albums.
One of the collaborators who has worked closely with Chelsea Cutler over the last decade is Quinn XCII, who joins her on stage for this show. The Michigan-based pop, hip-hop, reggae and EDM rapper and producer — originally known as “Mike T” — focused his early music on covering and producing music with fellow Michigander, Ayokay. Quinn, who grew up listening to Motown, counts his musical influencers as Michael Jackson, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Jack Johnson, Jon Bellion, and Chance the Rapper.
On Saturday, June 28, American singer and songwriter Jessie Murph, whose sound is primarily rooted in country music, hits the stage for a rocking set. Originally discovered after uploading vlogs and covers to her TikTok and YouTube channels, Murph’s unique sound comes from her love of multiple genres, including rock, pop, and soul. She has performed and recorded with the likes of A-listers Jelly Roll, Teddy Swims, Bailey Zimmerman, and Diplo, and recently performed at this year’s Coachella Music and Arts Festival.
The following shows begin at 7:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Visit sdfair.com for ticket details and artist information.
