SAN DIEGO–Classic cocktail parties will have a new sparkle this season, when one of San Diego’s most beloved neighborhoods serves up a festive way to enjoy the holiday season.
On December 11 from 5 to 10 p.m., take in the holiday decorations and crisp air, while you embark on a self-guided walking tour of delightful drinks, scrumptious eats and fabulous retail shopping at Hillcrest Taste ‘n’ Tinis.
Tasters and toasters alike will be treated to festive fair from local signature chefs and restaurants, offering an assortment of specialties from mouthwatering appetizers and entrees to decadent sweet treats from over 20 Hillcrest businesses. Make your mouth feel merry with a variety of flavors, including spicy Spanish, fresh seafood, hearty Italian, classic American, warm coffees and pastries and many more tasty bites.
“We are very excited about this year’s Hillcrest Taste ‘n’ Tinis,” said HBA Executive Director Benjamin Nicholls. “It’s the perfect place to do your holiday shopping and enjoy delicious food and drinks, while spending time here in San Diego’s most fabulous neighborhood.”
In the midst of the culinary merriment, find joy and warmth indoors by visiting participating retail shops, where you can shop while sipping on festive cocktails. Peppermint martinis, creamy eggnog, candy cane cosmopolitans, “scroogedrivers” and other tantalizing tastes will be mixed under the mistletoe, as participating boutiques will have bartenders creating cocktails for event goers in each store.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event.
Participants in the cocktail portion of Hillcrest Taste ‘n’ Tinis must be 21 years or older and have a valid ID to enter.
