Target employees will get an extra bonus this holiday season from the retailer’s corporate headquarters.

The retailer is giving another $200 bonus to more than 350,000 eligible hourly employees in stores and distribution centers—including seasonal hires—and hourly employees who support Target’s guest and team member contact centers.

“In a year like no other, I’m proud of what this team has accomplished and grateful for the care and connection they’ve provided our guests and communities,” says Melissa Kremer, Target’s chief HR officer. “Target’s success this year is a direct result of our team members turning our purpose into action and meeting our guests’ changing needs day after day.”

The retailer said the bonus represents an investment of more than $70 million in their employees ahead of the holidays.

It’s the fourth time Target has recognized their employees with bonuses in 2020. That’s on top of several increases in the pay and benefits, including their permanent move to a $15 starting wage—all part of the nearly $1 billion more this year Target’s investing in their employee’s well-being, health and safety, the retailer posted on its website.
