CARLSBAD–Ari Segal, president of business operations for the San Diego Gulls, landed at La Costa Glen retirement community in Carlsbad recently for a presentation on San Diego’s new hockey franchise.
Segal’s visit was part of La Costa Glen’s monthly “Sports Night” series in which athletes and sports executives meet with the residents. Past guests include Tony Hawk, Major League Baseball umpire Mike Winters, former MLB player Rick Sutcliffe, professional race car driver Tommy Kendall, and professional mountain climber Randy Leavitt.
