San Diego, CA–The San Diego Growlers of the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) opened their 2023 season on May 5 with “Friday Night Lights” versus the Colorado Summit at Mira Mesa High School.
The Growlers entered their eighth season in the league, coming off a 9-3 season in 2022 and earning a fourth consecutive playoff appearance.
San Diego faced a Colorado team that won the 2022 West Division title in their first season in the AUDL. The Growlers, however, were the only team to defeat the Summit last year.
Founded in 2014, the San Diego Growlers are a professional ultimate team that competes in the West Division of the American Ultimate Disc League.
