Abel
ENCINITAS–Abel is pet of the week at Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
Abel is a 1-year-old, 44 pound, male, Shepherd mix with a fawn and white coat. He has been sharing a kennel with another dog. When people pass by, the other dog comes to the gate to say hello and ask for treats. Abel is more likely to stay behind so he can make sure everything is safe before he ventures out. Because he’s so cautious, Abel will probably do best in an adult home with a yard and a confident dog to help him come out of his shell.
Abel was transferred from a Mississippi sanctuary through FOCAS.
The $145 adoption fee for Abel includes medical exams, vaccinations, neuter, and registered microchip.
