Escondido, CA–A wrapped body of a man found along a roadway has been identified by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, authorities said.
The body has been identified as 27-year-old Martin Armenta. There were no signs of trauma, and his cause of death is still under investigation, the Medical Examiner’s Office said
The family has been notified of Armenta’s death.
On August 25, just after 7 a.m., Sheriff’s deputies received a radio call of a body found just off the roadway near the 8000 block of Harmony Grove Road in unincorporated Escondido. They arrived at the scene where they found a deceased body wrapped in an unknown material.
The circumstances of Armenta’s death are still under investigation.
