VISTA–A woman was found shot inside her vehicle Saturday morning in Vista, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
The incident occurred about 6:15 a.m., in the 400 block of Sycamore Avenue.
When deputies arrived, they located an adult female in a vehicle who was a victim of a gunshot wound. Vista Fire Department transported the female to a local area hospital for treatment.
The woman is still alive. However, due to the gravity of the woman’s injuries, the Sheriff’s Homicide Unit responded and assumed responsibility for the investigation.
