RAINBOW–Sheriff’s deputies are searching for suspects in connection with an armed robbery Tuesday of an unlicensed marijuana dispensary in Rainbow.
At about 7:22 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of the robbery at the dispensary.
The employees reported multiple people entered the dispensary and held them at gunpoint. An altercation ensued with the security guard and one of the suspects was shot during the struggle.
The additional suspects assisted their injured co-conspirator as they fled the scene. Local hospitals were alerted to be on the lookout for a gun-shot victim.
Detectives responded to investigate the robbery as well as the illegal dispensary operation. All three robbery suspects have not been located. All products from the dispensary will be seized.
