SAN DIEGO–Crime Stoppers and investigators are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unknown suspect wanted for attempt homicide.
Detectives said on February 11 at approximately 8:45 p.m., a 24-year-old male victim was walking west on 900 Broadway in downtown San Diego. An unknown vehicle was travelling north on 900 9th Avenue and stopped at the intersection of 9th and Broadway. The driver of the vehicle briefly exchanged words with the victim who had just crossed 9th Avenue. For unknown reasons, the driver of the vehicle shot the victim multiple times. It is believed the driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was described as a mixed race possibly black or Asian male.
A nearby video surveillance camera captured several images of the possible suspect vehicle.
