VISTA–Deputies were dispatched to investigate two males vandalizing cars at 101 Wave Dr. in Vista.
Per the reporting party, the Hispanic males were jumping on cars and kicking them, causing visible damage.
Deputies arrived on scene and observed two males stumbling in the parking lot. Both subjects displayed signs and symptoms of intoxication. While deputies spoke with both subjects, the reporting party/witness arrived at the location and positively identified Christian Ruiz Lopez, 26, by his clothing, as the suspect that was jumping on and kicking the cars in the parking lot.
Lopez was arrested for five charges of vandalism. All of the victims were located and contacted.
