Lemon Grove, CA–Authorities announced the arrest of a fourth suspect on Monday in connection with a homicide that took place in Lemon Grove last year.
On March 18, 2023, shortly before 10 p.m., deputies responded to a shooting report on the 2800 block of Lemon Grove Avenue. Upon arrival, they found 39-year-old Gregory Moore unconscious in a vehicle near the intersection of Lemon Grove and San Miguel Avenues.
As deputies worked to remove Moore from the vehicle, they observed gunshot wounds on his left upper leg and lower torso. Deputies immediately applied a tourniquet to his leg as paramedics arrived on the scene. Moore was transported to a local hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
Three suspects connected to the case had previously been taken into custody. On November 7, the final suspect, 44-year-old Daniel Ethridge, was arrested in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ethridge was detained on theft charges and was also found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for Moore’s homicide. Sheriff’s detectives are working with the District Attorneys’ Offices in San Diego and St. Paul to extradite Ethridge back to San Diego.
