SOLANA BEACH–Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in searching for a suspect in a residential burglary Friday in Solana Beach, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department reports.
The burglary occurred at 12:12 p.m. in the 700 block of Castro Street, according to Sheriff’s deputies.
Deputies arrived at the location and searched for the suspect in the area of Highland Drive. The suspect was not found.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 55-years-old, 5-feet-10 inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing jeans, a blue shirt and a gray hat and was carrying a red backpack.
