SAN DIEGO–About 4,300 COVID-19 tests were reported to the county Friday, and 145 or 3% were positive new cases, according to the County Health and Human Services Agency.

San Diego county resident total cases are now at 7,385, an increase from Friday of 145. Public health officials report 1,314 or 17.8% of cases have required hospitalization, and 381 or 5.2% of all cases had to be admitted to an intensive care unit.

Three additional local deaths due to COVID-19 have been reported today. The countywide total is 269.

Three men died between May 24 and 27, and their ages ranged from 81 to 96 years. All had underlying medical conditions.
