RAMONA–A small, two-seat plane crashed Saturday morning near a CAL FIRE helicopter landing pad at Ramona Airport, Sheriff’s department says.
The 56-year-old pilot walked away from the 10 a.m. crash with only minor cuts. He was treated at the scene by firefighters. No one else was on-board the plane. No one on the ground was injured.
Ramona Airport officials have notified the FAA and NTSB about the plane crash.
