LAKESIDE–An argument between two men in Lakeside Saturday led to one man being stabbed in the arm, authorities said.

Deputies said the altercation took place just after 10 p.m. in the 9600 block of Winter Gardens Boulevard.

During the argument, one man pulled out a knife and slashed the victim’s arm. The victim sustained a severed artery and stumbled into a neighbor’s residence for help. Deputies arrived and tended to the victim’s injuries by applying life saving measures. The victim was transported to the hospital and is currently in serious but stable condition.

During the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as 45-year-old Robert Tate Allen. He is described as a white male, bald, approximately 5’10” tall, 190 pounds. Allen is known to frequent the east county area of San Diego county and drives a black 4-door sedan.
